PEM Aquatic Matting, Lightweight, 6' × 25'

Reduce injury related risk and enhance your facility's appearance with PEM Aquatic Matting. PEM Matting is a heat and pressure bonded non-woven, flexible plastic material. Its textured surface reduces slippage under wet conditions. Porous construction allows for moisture to flow through footing surface or evaporate, eliminating standing water and reducing algae growth. Barefoot traffic will experience soft comfort on PEM Matting as feet are protected from enemies like splinters or hot surfaces. PEM is lightweight and easy to clean, resists chemical and environmental degradation, and includes Micro-Chek Antimicrobial additive to resist growth of bacteria and mildew.

To adhere PEM Matting to wood, concrete and steel surfaces, GE Silicone 1800 is recommended. For aggressive applications that involve standing or flowing water or for underwater applications, Surebond 909 adhesive is recommended. One 6' × 25' piece of PEM Matting requires 12 tubes of adhesive.

Lightweight Matting is best for spas, restrooms, locker rooms and pool decks.
