Competitor Gold Medal 6" Water Polo Sideline 50M With 30M Playing Field

Competitor’s water polo field of play consists of two sidelines, where the distance between the respective goal lines shall be 25 meters (women), 30 meters (men), or 75 feet. The sidelines of the field of play from the goal line to the 2 meter line shall be marked in red; from the 2 meter line to the 5 meter line shall be marked in yellow and the middle of the sideline shall be marked in green. There is always a center mark that is white.

Floating goals are attached to the wall using one or two lanes on each side which are referred to as “tethers”. These are typically white in color, with the re-entry area marked with 2 meters of red.

The sidelines and tethers are attached to the pool wall and are custom made to fit any pool dimension. Competitor water polo lanes are fully assembled to meet all FINA, USA, NCAA, and NFHS standards and can be purchased in both Competitor Standard 4” or Gold Medal 6” discs. Competitor discs now feature LifeSpan+, a new proprietary additive formula that substantially increases their useful life.
