Painting and Pool Repair

ThermGard®, a division of Universal Filtration, Inc., manufactures some of the finest pool covers and storage reels in the industry. ThermGard insulated pool and spa covers use a seven-layer custom laminated polyethylene to provide optimum insulation and durability. Covers are custom made to ensure fit, and all ThermGard covers are backed by a factory warranty.

Why Cover Your Pool or Spa?

Save Money! Pools and spas loose energy. When the air temperature drops below the pool or spa’s temperature, heat is being lost through evaporation. Covering your pool or with a ThermGard insulated cover can prevent the loss, translating to 60 to 80 percent energy savings!

ThermGard insulated pool covers are available in three materials. Standard 1010, Deluxe 1212, and Ultra 1214. Please refer to the table below for detailed information on each material.

"R" Value is a term used to measure a materials resistance to heat flow. It is commonly seen on packages of insulation at home improvement stores. The higher the "R" value the greater the insulation; R19 is greater than R12 for example. The "R" value is based on a mathematical term known as ‘R’ factor and is related to thermal conductivity of a particular material. The thermal conductivity is determined by a standardized test. The material manufacturer usually performs the test, however, lists of values for common materials are readily available.

More information about “R” value calculations and misconceptions can be found here, or feel free to contact our sales team.

ThermGard covers are custom made to ensure a proper fit for your application. Covers can be cut to fit around water features, steps, or ladders. Covers come with either hemmed or weighted edges for indoor or outdoor applications. When placing your order, you will be asked a series of questions; you may be asked to send pictures, drawings, and/or templates of your pool or spa. Once all the information is gathered, you will receive a drawing to approve or revise, sign and send back. Once you have signed off, your cover will go into production.

Estimate production time is 4 weeks. The production time may vary at peak season. Contact our sales team today to discuss current availability.
