Astral Commercial Vertical Fiberglass Filter

ASTRAL Commercial Vertical Filters range from 42" to 93". The filter tank is made of a noncorrosive fiberglass and polyester resin which provides a maximum working pressure of 50 PSI with a test pressure of 75 PSI. Each filter is fitted with collector body laterals and diffuser made of PVC and polypropylene which allow a maximum working temperature of 122°F. All filter tank and manifold components are manufactured by ASTRAL and are guaranteed to be noncorrosive and low maintenance. With an average bed depth of 36", our Vertical filters and larger Horizontal filters promote increased particle removal resulting in improved water clarity. Tank is lightweight and easily handled with a standard forklift or pallet jack.

Listed models include gauge panel, air relief and drain valves.

Manifold Kits and Accessories

Manifold kits for ASTRAL Commercial Filters are available in both 4 and 5-valve configurations. All manifolds are constructed from Schedule 80 PVC pipe and utilize ASTRAL Butterfly Valves with EPDM seals. All hardware for connection of manifold to filter and bolt kits for valves and flanges is included.

Accessories available for Manifold Systems include Single Lever Linkage (for manual operation of all valves in unison) and Automatic Backwash Kit (for automated operation of all valves in unison). These accessories accommodate switching from Filter mode to Backwash mode.
