Competitor 4" Racing Lane, 50M with Removable Piece to Convert to 1-75' Lane

Competitor Racing Lanes' patented flow-through design controls water turbulence by allowing wave energy to be dispersed along the length of the lane. This creates the optimum swimming environment for a swimmer's fastest times.

Competitor Lane Lines now feature LifeSpan+, a new proprietary additive formula that substantially increases the useful life of Competitor discs.

Competitor lanes come completely assembled and are offered in a variety of colors and sizes to meet any need. Each lane consists of a series of 4" polyethylene disks and donuts strung on vinyl coated 3/16" stainless steel cable. Each of these disks is designed to rotate independently of the others, thereby allowing the wave energy to be absorbed and distributed along the channel within the lane. The donuts are placed at regular intervals to maintain proper floatation during use.

Competitor lanes are attached to the pool wall using a stainless steel spring at one end and a stainless steel/bronze ratchet reel at the other for proper tension. By using a disconnect assembly, variable lengths can be obtained from the same lane. Standard colors: White, Black, Red, Maroon, Orange, Yellow, Vegas Gold, Green, Sky Blue, Blule, Navy, Purple, Gray, and Burgundy.

At least two colors should be used, with a distinctly different color pattern implemented 15 feet from each end of the pool (the Lead-In). Disc 1 Color and Disc 2 Color are the colors that will alternate between the Lead-Ins. FINA requires a backstroke turn marking of a contrasting color 15 meters from each end of the lane. You will be able to specify colors when you add the item to your cart.
